Position Overview
- The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing, managing, and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, scalability, and efficiency. This role involves leading the infrastructure team, planning and implementing IT strategies, and ensuring systems and networks support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management
- Manage and maintain servers, networks, storage, and cloud environments.
- Oversee system performance monitoring, backups, disaster recovery, and capacity
planning. - Ensure high availability and reliability of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop IT infrastructure engineers and support staff.
- Allocate resources, assign tasks, and oversee daily operations of the infrastructure
team.
- Security & Compliance
- Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect systems, data, and networks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and industry best
practices.
- Project Management
- Plan, lead, and deliver infrastructure projects (e.g., system upgrades, cloud
migrations, data center initiatives). - Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Develop and manage infrastructure budgets.

- Provide escalation support for complex infrastructure issues.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system outages, performance issues, and network
disruptions. - Ensure IT documentation and policies are up-to-date and properly implemented.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s
degree a plus). - Proven experience (5+ years) in IT infrastructure management, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Expertise in infrastructure technologies:
- Windows/Linux servers
- Networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, switches, routers)
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
- Backup and disaster recovery solution
- Knowledge of IT security principles and compliance standards (ISO, GDPR, PCI DSS, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in ITIL framework and service management.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
