Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure across cloud environments.
• Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain infrastructure
  provisioning using automation tools. (important)
• CI/CD Pipelines: Build and optimise deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions (or similar) to streamline software releases.
• Monitoring & Incident Response: Implement and manage observability solutions using tools like DataDog, BetterStack, and Google Cloud Operations Suite to ensure system reliability and quick incident response.
• Security & Compliance: Enforce best practices for cloud security, access controls, and compliance standards. We are currently working through ISO27001.
• Performance Optimisation: Analyse and improve system performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Stack Maintenance: Support the management and rollout of language and framework updates and upgrades across our tech stack.
• Collaboration & Support: Work closely with software engineers, QA, and product teams to enhance development workflows and troubleshoot issues.
• Availability & On-Call: Participate in an on-call roster to ensure critical systems
  support and rapid incident response outside of business hours.

Requirements (Essential):

• Proven experience in DevOps roles with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong understanding of PHP and Laravel
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Expertise in containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE preferred).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Powershell or similar).
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools (DataDog, BetterStack, Prometheus, Google Cloud Operations Suite).
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices.
• Knowledge of database administration and performance tuning (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server or similar) is a plus.
• Familiarity with using AI tools in daily workflows, particularly for DevOps

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Windows Server
• Experience working through ISO27001
• Experience with performing a cloud migration.

Work Details

• Shift: Monday to Friday: (AU time – 6:00am 3:00pm or 7:00am- 4:00pm PH Time) ;
  depending on business needs
