About:

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, and systems integration. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Architect and implement system integrations with third-party APIs and services.
• Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures for performance.
• Manage deployments, infrastructure, and scaling strategies on AWS.
• Implement and enforce best practices in security, performance, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver robust solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js with knowledge of TypeScript for backend development
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL
• Hands-on expertise with AWS services EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway etc..
• Proven track record of system integrations
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerised environments.
• Proficiency in version control (Git).

Desirable (but not essential)

• Familiarity with monitoring tools.
• Exposure to DevOps practice

Work Details

• Shift: Monday to Friday: 6:00am- 3:00pm or 7:00am- 4:00pm PH Time; depending on business needs
• Location: Work from Home Until Further Notice*
• Status: Full time Employment
