About the role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and developing the technical direction, planning, and execution of projects. This role involves hands-on development, technical leadership, architectural design, and team management. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities and be a team player.
Responsibilities:
1. Technical Leadership
• Define and guide the technical strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Architect scalable, maintainable, and secure systems.
• Lead code reviews, provide feedback on design and coding practices, and ensure the quality of the technical deliverables.
• Advocate for and implement industry best practices, coding standards, and testing strategies.
• Build and maintain systems and applications.
2. Project Ownership & Delivery
• Manage and deliver end-to-end projects.
• Build project scope, schedules, and resources to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and security of systems under development.
3. Mentorship & Team Development
• Mentor and guide team members.
• Provide leadership in fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Conduct one-on-ones with team members and provide constructive feedback.
4. Collaboration & Communication
• Act as the technical liaison between the development team and management.
• Communicate technical decisions, challenges, and solutions effectively while making suggestions to both technical and non-technical team members.
Requirements:
• Strong API building/integration
• Expert in React/Node/PostgreSQL/AWS.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and investigate complex systems.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ticket management – manage, delegate and hold the team accountable.
Work Details:
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00AM – 3:00PM; 7:00am- 4:00pm (PH Time)
• Location: Work from home
• Status: Contractor
